Astrology is active in South Korea. There is a mix of Korean, Chinese and western astrology. Korean astrology is lunar based and it has its own zodiac of twelve animals. South Korea is also known for Cheomseongdae, an astrological observatory in Gyeongju, South Korea. It is the oldest surviving observatory in the world.
